Kennedy Gold Mine

At one point in its life, the Kennedy Gold Mine was the largest gold mine in the country, both by size and production.

We took a tour and learned all about poor working conditions, massive advances in technology, blind cave donkeys, ceramics teachers, crews quarters, $20 a week wages, and so much more!

Adventures come in all shapes and sizes. Don't be afraid to have fun!
