The Sutro Baths

Just below the Cliff House there was a massive building next to the ocean that housed the largest indoor swimming pools that the world had ever seen.

1.7 million gallons of water made up the Sutro Baths, and the building itself could hold up to 10,000 people.

While the original building is long gone, remnants of the baths still surround the cove. Join us as we explore Adolph Sutro's Sutro baths.
